There's a storm a comin'

Well, there was at the time. This is from a couple of weeks ago - the day changed from blue skies to dark gray clouds. It just depended on which direction you were looking.

Sky Watch Friday

We had blue skies this afternoon, and much-too-high temperatures. We hit 89 today, a record I believe. It should be in the high 60s tomorrow, and Sunday. Back to normal.
Part of the reason we moved here was for the temperate weather - which we haven't really seen this anomalous year.
It doesn't usually get hot here - we don't even have air conditioning in the house because we don't usually need it. Today we just closed down the curtains and drapes, and stayed cool inside.

Today's April weather in a capsule

This is today's weather in one picture - blue sky, puffy clouds, gray clouds, hail mixed with snow on the ground, wet road from rain. The saying about Washington weather is 'if you don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes and it'll change.' Definitely came true today.
