ABC Wednesday - C is for Chainsaw

C is for Chainsaw - of the Unlimited variety. At the logging competition held a previous year, we saw these chainsaws in action. These are the size labeled Unlimited, because the only limit is that it has to be operated by only two men. At the competition, two loggers lift the chainsaw into position on a log, and the winner is the one to slice a piece of the log the fastest. The fastest time was less than a second.

To bring the chainsaws into the competition area, it takes 5-6 men to carry them. One of the saws was a Buick V8 engine, converted. The battery is carried separately, and then used to start the engine.
